Builders laying the foundation for Kirkland

Meet the Builders Laying the Foundation for Kirkland’s Future

The Builders Circle is a group of visionary donors laying the foundation for Kirkland’s future—investing in the infrastructure our community needs to thrive
At the Kirkland Community Foundation, we’re not just responding to immediate needs—we’re building capacity for long-term impact. While an endowment remains a future goal, our Founders Campaign and Builders Circle are the critical steps we’re taking now to grow into a fully functioning community foundation.

Why the Builders Circle Matters Now

An endowment is the classic model for sustainability—a permanent pool of funds that provides dependable grantmaking capacity. While we work toward that future, our Builders Circle is how we’re building the bridge to get there.

“We’re here to make Kirkland stronger by bringing people together for lasting local impact,” says Executive Director Carmin Dalziel.

“The Builders Circle is more than a giving opportunity—it’s how we grow the systems, partnerships, and momentum needed to solve real community challenges. When you become a Builder, you’re investing in a more resilient, connected Kirkland—where everyone has the opportunity to thrive.”

Through multi-year commitments ($5,000+ annually for three years), Builders provide flexible, dependable funding that strengthens our ability to serve—and grow with—the community we love.

Grateful for Our Early Builders
