Kirkland Community Foundation Seeks Board Members

The Kirkland Community Foundation (KCF) is seeking dedicated and passionate individuals to join its Board of Directors. As a non-profit organization dedicated to enriching the lives of Kirkland residents through parks, recreation, and community programs, KCF relies on the expertise and guidance of its Board to fulfill its mission.

We are particularly interested in candidates with strong skills in the following areas:

  • Financial: Experience in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Accounting: Expertise in accounting principles, financial reporting, and tax compliance.
  • Investment: Knowledge of investment strategies, portfolio management, and risk assessment.
  • Legal: Understanding of non-profit law, contracts, and intellectual property rights.
  • Marketing: Experience in marketing strategies, public relations, and brand development.

Board Member Responsibilities:

We are currently a working board and seek board members who have the capacity to dedicate 8-10 hours per month to our mission.

  • Actively participate in Board meetings and committee work.
  • Provide strategic direction and oversight to KCF’s programs and initiatives.
  • Assist with fundraising and development efforts.
  • Serve as an ambassador for KCF in the community.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Passionate resident of the Kirkland community and committed to improving the lives of its residents.
  • Strategic thinker with a proven track record of success in their field.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
