Impact

Since 2014, Kirkland Community Foundation has partnered with local nonprofits, community organizations, and passionate residents to bring transformative projects to life across our city. Through our competitive grant programs, including Ignite Kirkland grants and area-of-impact funding, we've supported over 100 community-driven initiatives that enhance Kirkland's arts and culture, advance educational innovation, strengthen parks and environmental stewardship, improve health and housing access, and build meaningful community connections. From the beloved Save Our Salmon mural and Waverly Beach Picnic Shelter to scholarship programs and neighborhood improvements, each funded project reflects our commitment to channeling community philanthropy into visible, lasting impact. Browse our portfolio of completed and ongoing projects below to see how local giving creates real change throughout Kirkland. Got an idea for a project? Take the first step by telling us about it.
